Messi Meets America: Lionel Messi’s new series for AppleTV

Perhaps the platform that until now had entered the least in the world of sports was AppleTV. But this was until now, because the technology giant's platform is catching up with Messi Meets America.

This is the new series on the streaming platform.

What is Messi Meets America about?

Obviously, we will see one more product about the best in the world: Lionel Messi. However, Messi Meets America is about this specific moment in his career: the Leagues Cup.

For many, the arrival of a player to the American league is the path to his retirement. However, it has not been entirely like that for Lionel Messi. After winning the World Cup, Messi decided to go to Inter Miami, the team with which he won the first edition of the Leguaes Cup. This title earned his team qualification for the 2024 Concacaf Champions League.

Messi Meets America, then, follows the path of Inter Miami through this league and towards other championships. In this series we will see Messi's best moments in the American league and with Inter Miami. From his first goal with the team in his first game, in the last minute; until obtaining his team's first title.

Release date and number of episodes of Messi Meets America

Messi Meets America will have six episodes, but these cannot be marathoned, as they will not all come out at the same time. So the series will have two premiere dates.

The first will be on Wednesday, October 11, when the first three chapters will be released. For these dates there will be no MLS matches, which resume on Saturday, October 14. So the premiere of the first half of this series is the perfect interlude for fans who are waiting to see Messi play.
