Since 2010 Bogotá is filled in with Rock, New Folk, Electronic and Pop and stablish itself as the new music festival leader.
Created in 2010 by an independent group of promoters of events, with many difficulties especially in the first editions, the "Festival Estéreo Picnic" has been made in the outskirts of Bogota with national and international artists who offer music Rock, Electronic , Pop and New Folcklore among many others. The event also includes cultural and entertainment activities, alternating with concerts where attendees can enjoy food and outdoor art.
With the 2015 edition there are already six, through which its organizers have wanted to focus the musical experience with artists of wide international recognition, national and local, accompanied by parallel activities such as the commercial sample called "hippie market", and much place for the coexistence between the attendants to the style of great festivals of the world like Coachella and Lollapalooza.
For many the Stereo Picnic is the musical event of the year, with the arrival of international bands whose only stop in Colombia coincides with this festival. However, the main focus does not only belong to foreign artists, but also steals the national talent that has a large space during the three days of the event.
