HBO's commitment to expand and strengthen its original productions in Latin America has conquered viewers across Latin America.
HBO announces the renewal of its Brazilian series “El negocio” for its fourth season.
The new episodes of the fourth season of the series starring Rafaela Mandelli, Juliana Schalch, Michelle Batista and Aline Jones will begin shooting at the beginning of next year in São Paulo, Brazil.
Exhibited throughout Latin America and the United States, “El negocio” broke audience records in Brazil in the first half of this year, consolidating itself as the second most viewed series on HBO, only behind Game of Thrones.
"We are very excited about this fourth season of the series. The actresses love the story and the public is increasingly involved in the plot, which has international repercussions. That shows that we have been successful in the content of our original productions and it encourages us to further expand production in Latin America. In January we will start filming the new chapters of El Negocio, which will surprise everyone, "says Roberto Ríos, Corporate Vice President of Original Productions at HBO Latin America.
“El negocio” follows the day to day of Karin (Mandelli), Luna (Schalch), Magali (Baptist) and Mia (Jones), four luxury escorts that stand out in the oldest profession in the world. In the first season, Karin, Luna and Magali implemented various marketing strategies that not only gained ground in the market but also created the company Blue Ocean.
