Two years have passed since the death of Stan Lee, the legendary editor of Marvel Comics, which allowed the creation of some of the most important characters that would later reach the big screen.

The really funny thing is that this personality also became popular due to its appearance in different Marvel movies. Although, before the creation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he had had some appearances in other people's films (like the Hulk of 2003, Spider-Man 2 or The Fantastic 4), his cameos became a distinguishable piece in the MCU. Let's look at the best appearances Stan Lee had.

The Incredible Hulk (2008)

One of the most memorable cameos in the entire history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also one of the first. His appearance came when Bruce Banner became a fugitive wanted by the United States government. For this reason, he ends up in Brazil, where he works in a beverage factory. However, at one point Banner cuts his finger, which leads to a drop of his blood falling into the bottles, causing Stan Lee to drink it and become intoxicated, alerting the security of the country.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

In this case, we come to what, according to Stan Lee himself, is his “favorite cameo”. The legendary creator of the comics mentioned that, in this case, he was delighted to participate in this movie, since it has two scenes instead of one, as he was used to.

Basically, he appears in the first instance with Thor, drinking an Asgard drink, which is very powerful. Despite the fact that the Nordic hero tells him that he would "kill him", he decides to agree to take it. However, then he reappears totally drunk, where they have to remove him from the place while saying his classic phrase "Excelsior".

Doctor Strange (2016)

Perhaps one of the funniest in this entire franchise. In the presentation film of the character played by Benedict Cumberbatch, there is a scene in which, when he is fighting Mordo, they collide with a bus in which Stan Lee is traveling.

He, who did not even notice the shock, is very concentrated on reading a specific book, so his cameo is not something "casual". In fact, it is with an essay of The Doors of Perception, where the British novelist Aldous Huxley recounted his hallucinogenic experiences, something that is complemented by the psychedelic visual aspect so particular of this film.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (2017)

One of the strangest in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also, possibly, one of the most important. When this film came out, many people did not understand exactly what its appearance meant. For this reason, from Fotogramas they decided to explain a little about the reason for their cameo.

At first, we see him dressed as an astronaut, telling different stories about his life, which leads us to believe that, in fact, he always played the same character during all the MCU films, something that Marvel producer Kevin Feige ended up with confirming. The curious thing is that the character was in the company of the Watchers, some practically powerless beings who are currently neutral since they watch everything that happens in the cosmos.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017)

Finally, we see another of the most popular cameos that the Marvel cartoonist had. Here he has a very prominent role, since we see him play the barber who changes the look of the Thor character, through a tool that has become a true classic in the saga.
