FIFA 21 is just around the corner. According to what the PC World website mentions, EA Sports decided to schedule its official launch for October 9, although it can already be pre-purchased. If you do it in its special editions, you can enjoy it from October 1 (for EA Access or Origin Access members) or on October 6 of that same month.

This game will have a wide variety of new features for all its game modes, but what fans wanted to know was who would be the best players in this edition. Remember that the list is updated delivery after delivery, according to the performance they have had in real life during all the competitions.

Knowing that, according to the Goal website, football has been paused in various leagues on the planet, we are talking about an atypical situation for this new edition of FIFA, which, in any case, has already revealed its best ratings. Let's see, then, the players with the highest global average and the most important changes, many of which generated strong controversies.

The highest FIFA 21 ratings

The first thing everyone wanted to know was who would be the best player in this edition. Well, the medium Marca highlights that, despite the weak present that Barcelona has, the Argentine Lionel Messi continues to be the highest number of the title, having an average of 93, in addition to some interesting attributes, such as 95 in dribbling or 92 in shots.

According to what the La Nación website highlights, his closest competitors are the Portuguese star of Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo, who is often considered Rosario's closest rival. He will have a lower score, that is, it will be at 92 on average, so they will be almost on par in terms of performance.

The problem was that, in some cases, some improvements or losses were stipulated according to individual and collective performances in real life, but they were not reflected in the game . Olé's specialized media was of the opinion, for example, that Raheem Sterling, a figure in the UEFA Champions League semi-finalist Manchester City, would increase his 88 on average due to his excellent season, although he finally remained at the same value.

Even other players expressed their dissatisfaction with the assessment they received from EA Sports. Mundo D's website reports that the Belgian striker expressed his anger through Twitter, saying that his 33 goals last season did not receive the qualification he deserved in the game, since he currently has an average of 85, considered low for his statistics.

However, they have not been the only criticisms that these decisions received from the protagonists of the field. The One Football website mentions that, in this edition, they decided to lower the status of Arsenal's Gabonese striker, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who had an excellent season at Arsenal … although the opposite was seen in his numbers, since he dropped from 88 to 87, something that amused him on his Twitter.

Another of the emblematic cases was Thiago, one of the figures of the Bayern Munich champion of the UEFA Champions League, who went from an average 87 to an incomprehensible 85. Even other players complained about "climbing little", as is the case from the Belgian Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, who had a magnificent season, although, according to the BeSoccer website, he only rose one point (from 88 to 89).
