With high-rise artists, the Coachella lineup is revealed in its version for 2020. This festival, which is now a little over 20 years old, has already formed a reputation that cannot disappoint its attendees and its lineup usually establishes a line of Guide for the other smaller festivals but with great popularity.

The guests

The list is headed by the band Rage Against The Machine, rapper Travis Scott and singer Frank Ocean. They are also read on the poster name as Lana del Rey, FKA twigs, Calvin Harris, Disclosure, Flume 21 Savage, and Ari Lennox.

This implies that this year's approach has two inclinations: on the one hand, hip hop, R&B, neo soul sounds; and on the other, electronic and contemporary pop. This, without leaving aside the hard and soft rock, which is reflected in one of the bands that lead: Rage Against The Machine.

Unlike last year, reggaeton and urban music in Spanish will not be part of the festival, which this time leans towards a more American culture than Latin or European.

The festival

According to Variety, although the public of Coacehlla is well delimited and even exclusive, the challenge of this festival is to please its wide age range, as it has faithful attendees that go from its first version in 1999 and that are composed mostly of the so-called boomers who enjoy classical rock music, but also with millennials and centenials who grew up listening to hip hop and electronic music and perhaps associated rock with their parents' music.

In this sense, the cartel manages to satisfy all tastes by putting among its main artists a band like Rage Against The Machine, which combines rock, metal and rap and two other artists such as Frank Ocean and Travis Scott that respectively represent neo soul sounds and R&B and a more festive and experimental trap.

The festival announced its guest artists on January 2 through its Twitter account. Before publishing the entire poster he made a couple of winks with his fans to give clues about the artists that will attend this year.

This year the festival will take place during three days in April in Indio, California as usual. The first week of sales sold out and the presale will begin today January 6.
