Every large ceremony must have its red carpet. As we have been accustomed to over the years, the preview of the 2022 Oscars was full of elegance, beauty and extravagance by the different guests, who did not hesitate to wear outfits that caught the attention of fans and critics. The 94th edition of the Academy Awards not only brought out the best of cinema, but also of the fashion industry.

Certainly, when it comes to an awards ceremony, the look of the guests is important. It is at this point that the red carpet begins to be the protagonist of the moment, becoming the real path of the different celebrities. What to wear for such an occasion? It is worth mentioning that the Oscar protocol establishes a dress code,  which aims to maintain an atmosphere full of glamor.

Of course, not all actors follow this code religiously, because while some go for tradition and follow fashion trends, others go much further and risk flashy outfits to get all eyes on the red carpet. The classic thing is that men attend the gala with the typical black tuxedo and white shirt, although with the possibility of varying the colors. In turn, women must attend with a long evening dress or cocktail dress below the knees.

The best at the 2022 Oscars

The expectations for the red carpet of the Oscars 2022 were not only very high, but also exceeded. The presence of fresh and festive fashion was present on the catwalk from start to finish, where we also witnessed the beauty of Latin American artists. Here are some  highlights of the night.

Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem

One of the strongest couples in the film industry and that represents Ibero-America in a great way. Javier's classic bearing added to the beauty of Penelope in a Chanel once again adorning the red carpet of the Oscars.

Kristen Stewart

With a quite rebellious look and breaking dress codes, Kristen left millions of viewers sighing. The Chanel house dressed the actress who chose to expose her legs with mini shorts.

Andrew Garfield

Without a doubt, one of the men of the night. Andrew opted for dark tones and wore a more than elegant Saint Laurent suit by designer Anthony Vaccarello. In the end, the shower of praise was not only for his performance that earned him a Best Actor nomination, but also for his taste in fashion.

It wasn't enough just to see her in "Dune" and "Spider-Man: No Way Home." Many of us expected Zendaya's presence on the red carpet and it was not out of place at all. The actress is one of the divas of the Valentino brand and wore a short silk satin shirt with a silver organza skirt.

Timothee Chalamet

One of the few actors who went further with his outfit. Getting to be the center of attention on the red carpet at the Oscars was the goal achieved by the "Dune" actor, who knew how to captivate more than one person with his transparency and brilliance.

Jamie Lee Curtis

With the elegance that has always characterized her, the actress of the "Halloween" saga wore a long-sleeved dark blue column dress. In addition to that, she wore a small bow in tribute to the Ukrainian refugees.

Simu Liu

What better way to represent China than in a red suit? And it is that beyond matching the red carpet itself, the "Shang-Chi" actor knew how to exude elegance and color with an outfit that will remain in the retina of many people.

Carolina Gaitan

There aren't enough adjectives to describe how radiant she was on the Oscars red carpet. The Colombian actress and singer was present for her participation in the film "Encanto", and we were all delighted to see her in a voluminous pink dress from the Tony Ward brand.

Sebastian Yatra

Another of the Latinos who stole the looks on the red carpet. The singer who performed one of the night's nominated songs went for something a little out of the ordinary and wore a pink Moschino tuxedo.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith

Another of the great Hollywood couples who knows how to exude glamor on any catwalk. Both Will and Jada made a great impression on the red carpet. While he wore a classic Dolce Gabbana suit, she looked radiant in an emerald green gown from the house of Jean Paul Gaultier.
