The Winter Olympic Games, in addition to being controversial, have had quite a lot of curious news. From athletes caught cheating, to unbeatable records broken, these are the most curious Olympic stories of the event.
Another case to be highlighted in these games includes the Mexican skater Donovan Carillo who managed to capture the public’s attention with his charisma. Also the work of Erin Jackson, the African American who became the first black woman to win competitive ice speed skating.

The Winter Olympics end on February 20 and although this edition has been more marked by political tensions and controversies than by the achievements of athletes, there is still much to be remembered. We hope that the next edition, Milan 2026, will be less affected by these externalities.
