As everyone knows, the power of women in the digital age has become more relevant and has been pronounced with more emphasis during the COVID-19 health crisis. However, there is still a lot of skepticism and fear on the part of the female gender in the course of their link to the innovation sector.
A report published by UNESCO in conjunction with UN Women reveals the benefits of involving more women in the STEM field. However, despite the advances, professionalization still needs to be developed in some regions of Latin America. The data collected show that of the total number of researchers in engineering and technology, only 36% were women in Uruguay, 26% in Colombia, 21.5% in Bolivia, 19% in Peru, and 17% in Honduras.
In this sense, many women seek to reduce or even close the gender pay gap and go with great force towards the opportunity to have better living conditions. That is why the best women experts in entrepreneurship, transformation, and technology provide great event and keynote talks based on their experiences.
