The waiting is over, the third installment of Spider-Man, a film starring English actor Tom Holland, has finally reached theaters. After his encounter with Mysterio, Spider-Man must face the consequences of his identity being revealed and the loss of prestige left by the attack in London. The expectation for the film has been great due to rumors and frequent leaks as it is one of the most important Marvel characters. From this point you will find spoilers, so if you have not seen the movie it is best not to continue reading.

Spider-Man No Way Home

Spider-Man learns that his identity has been exposed by Mysterio (as seen at the end of the second movie). However, now he must face the consequences. He, his friends and his aunt are investigated by the government, in addition to the division of public opinion and its negative effects that no university accepts them. To remedy this, Peter asks for the help of Doctor Strange, who casts a spell to make the world forget what happened, but, due to Parker's interference, the spell turns out badly, unleashing problems between the different realities: the multiverse. Villains from the universes of previous Spider-Man movie versions are beginning to appear in this one, so now Peter must repair the damage he has done.

Fighting the Green Goblin, Doc Ock, Electro, Sandman and Lizard is not an easy task, Doctor Strange's solution is to return them to their universe (where they die following the original stories). But with the help of his friends and against the wishes of Doctor Strange, the arachnid will try to solve the problem, although the cost will be Aunt May's life. Eventually, the Spider-Man of this universe receives the support of the other Peter Parkers to "cure" the villains and give them a second chance. The only problem is that the spell, out of control, can only be fixed if everyone who knows Peter Parker forgets it.

Spider-Man on the edge of reality

Sipider-Man only starred in movies with other superheroes with the first two films of the current Spider-Man, since we could see Tom Holland's Peter Parker in Captain America Civil War and Avengers; while in the Spider-Man films we could see Tony Stark and Jon Favreau as Happy. The expectations for those films were huge, but definitely nothing compares to what was expected of Spider-Man No Way Home, a work that far exceeded any expectations. Then what the fans expected and much more happened, the disorder between universes, versions, changes and production problems could finally be ordered in a coherent way. Perhaps the most interesting moment is the death of Aunt May in this universe, unlike the previous ones where Uncle Ben was murdered, however, the event has had the same impact by forging the character of Peter Parker no matter what universe refers.

The threads of reality have been the way to make this possible, a mistake by Peter Parker and Dr. Stephen Strange has unleashed madness, Tobey Maguire's spider-man and Andrew Garfield's and their villains were present in Tom Holland's reality. The result has been spectacular, not only in the special effects, but it has also been able to touch the nostalgic chord of the fans of the previous films and in the process has "repaired" the errors of the other realities. Although as a fan you may have found yourself unintentionally with some leak or spoiler, in the end the emotion of those who watch the film is the same, seeing Willem Dafoe again as the green goblin has been brilliant, since he is still that cruel enemy of spider man without matter the universe or that almost 20 years have passed.

Rounding out the villains Jamie Foxx as Electro, Alfred Molina again as Doctor Otto Octavius, Rhys Ifans as the lizard, Thomas Haden Church as the Sandman and, although you may have noticed from the first of the Tom Holland tapes, JK Simmons repeats his role as JJ Jameson, the tough man who has run the Daily Bugle since the days of Tobey Maguire. This is a man who has transcended any difference of universes. If you've seen the most recent Venom movie, you'll remember that something strange happens in the post-credit scenes with the Tom Hardy-starring character universe, even Spider-Man is mentioned. In Spider-Man No Way Home the event continues and warns us about part of what is coming in the future of the arachnid. Finally another wink in the film is the appearance of Daredevil, another of the things that Marvel is surely preparing for the near future beyond the small screen. With three films, the Spider-Man franchise does not look worn, on the contrary, it seems that it still has a long way to go and many surprises for its fans.
