However, there is a way to ensure that your productivity is high while enjoying all the festivities.

Michelle Yuan is the founder and CEO of Asia Wedding Network, the largest wedding platform in Asia. As an entrepreneur, she finds it especially difficult to work during the Christmas season because there are so many projects, goals, and year-end screening fees. However, the CEO has some tips that have helped her stay motivated during the holidays and maintain her productivity and focus.

Setting daily goals makes you achieve great success

Write down everything at the beginning of your shift about what you want to accomplish that day. It will help you greatly to stay focused during this high season because if you are clear about what you want to achieve each day, you can stick to your plan. If someone calls you or is drawn to another project, you will always know how to get back to what you were doing before. The important thing here is to fulfill the tasks of that day.

Mornings are the best time to prepare your tasks and be effective

Don't waste your time in the morning. It is common for many people to wake up and check Facebook, Instagram, or other social media platforms. However, this could be a waste of time. The morning is the most valuable time to focus and set your goals for the day, so wasting that time looking at other people's Facebook or Instagram updates could delay your day. The morning is when you feel most motivated and how you start the day will set the tone for the rest of the day. If you are lazy in the morning, this will set the tone for the rest of the day.

Surrounding yourself with positive people changes everything

Stay away from negative people, especially during the Christmas season, when you don't want anything to drag you down or anyone to make you lose motivation. At the end of the year, you are setting budgets and new project goals, so anyone who is knocking you down, saying negative things, or being a negative influence is not helpful. Remember: your plan needs positive reinforcement to meet them. Surround yourself with people who are also motivated and focused.

Every moment is an opportunity to consciously connect

Find inspiration in your daily life. Often in the Christmas season, you will be drawn to social events or family gatherings. You can use this time to think about your business, so if you are shopping for gifts, you can see the campaigns that some of the other companies are running. If you meet new people, you can also ask them questions related to your business. You can always use your time wisely during the holiday season, even if you aren't working as much as you want.

Sometimes when you work too hard, it's easy to burn out. Take time to relax with your family and friends. Taking a break will help you be more productive. When you're too busy and overwhelmed, that's when a lack of motivation occurs.
