José Lozano considers that the countries of Latin America are prepared to take on the challenges of E-learning, and speaks of the e-learning triangle, which, "has a technological side on which it is sustained and developed,  the technology that exists in all the countries of the world." Still, professionals must be aware of all the potential they can offer and companies of all the economic benefits they can receive.

Learning in virtual environments or E-Learning goes far beyond connecting and clicking; it is the space where screens become the perfect setting to generate useful and assertive communication. That is why, in these times of crisis, where a pandemic became much more than a virus, E-Learning has allowed women and men to click, motivating teaching and learning situations.

In the particular case of women, the Spanish expert in E-Learning, José Lozano, ensures that both women and men have the same right to their training, anytime, anywhere. In this sense, women's participation is related to job opportunities.

"As more women enter the world of work, the more they will access and use online training." Still, it is essential to think about the opportunities that women have to access education, whether from rural or urban areas, becoming a powerful tool for development and progress.

José Lozano added that women are called to change the world of E-Learning, and that will happen in a few years. And for him, a sample is the EXPOELEARNING event, which takes place every year in Spain, and in other Latin American countries, such as Colombia, where women lead more than 50 percent of the experiences.

Currently, despite the digital divide, the Internet and Information Technologies have allowed spaces to use tools that will enable a meeting to use educational resources appropriately, integrating them into instructional practices, to impact in various ways on teaching and learning dynamics.

The use of digital tools by women has caused various modifications in the social imagination, due to the extensive use of these devices, which is a sure way transformed many processes in educational environments to transmit experiences from generation to generation.

E-Learning in times of pandemic

The accelerated growth of COVID-19 cases in the world generates uncertainty in all areas, and the education sector is no stranger. Therefore, governments must draw up action plans to guarantee access to education, and a way to do it, are the virtual learning environments.

José Lozano, affirms that the added value of E-learning in these times of pandemic is to facilitate access to online training, where there are no time and space barriers. "All of this, today, has become more urgent and necessary."

The exponential market for E-learning is increasing, due to the use and spread of Information and Communication Technologies, which became tools to manage and mediate in the teaching and learning processes.

According to the Obs Business School portal, the E-learning market could grow by 7.6 percent in 2020, this, without taking into account the COVID 19 health emergency that the world has been facing for several months.

"Currently, the trend of the E-learning market is growing. If E-learning reached $ 35.6 billion in 2011, in 2020, it was expected that the figure would double and reach $ 68.8 billion. This represents an estimated annual growth of 7.6% until 2020, says the specialized portal.

Another specialized media highlights the importance of virtual environments, highlighting their qualities, taking into account that this type of teaching increases learning retention rates between 25% and 60%.

In contrast, retention rates for classroom training are much lower: 8% to 10%. And it is that in online training, students have more control over their learning process because they can view the material as many times as they need and carry out the activities if necessary, which reduces pressure on the process and allows them to focus on learning.

The virtual learning environments have been so successful worldwide that, Forbes magazine said that, according to current projections, E-learning will have earnings of 325 billion dollars in 2025 without quantifying the crisis that is being experienced globally as a consequence of the pandemic.

.A report by the American Society for Training and Development found that "of 2,500 companies analyzed, those with comprehensive training programs experienced a 218% increase in earnings per employee and a 24% growth in fringe benefits", demonstrating the success of virtual learning today.
