Amid the economic crisis of the pandemic, the contracts of athletes continue to break records. Such is the case with Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, who recently signed a $450,000,000 10-year contract with them, which includes a $ 10,000,000 signing bonus, $ 141,481,905 guaranteed and an average annual salary of $ 45,000,000, according to Spotrac.

The 31-year-old Seattle Seahawks quarterback in 2019 received a 4-year contract worth 140 million dollars. Since 2013, he has been in the top 100 in the NFL, played 6 Pro Bowls and was the winner of Super Bowl XLVIII.

In 2019, this San Fransisco 49'ers quarterback signed a 5-year contract worth $ 137.5 million. By far the youngest player on this list, 28-year-old Garopolo has already been a 2-time Super Bowl champion, in its XLIX and LI editions.

4. Matthew Stafford
