Streaming content multiplies daily, so competition between streaming platforms is great. Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV +, HBO, Fox (and soon Disney + in Latin America) arrive with large productions for February.

Here we present the ones that look more interesting or that are most expected by the public on each platform.

Netflix

The platform premieres numerous titles. Here, two series whose popularity makes them stand out:

  • Las chicas del cable: The final season of the series will be divided into two parts, the first will arrive on Netflix on February 14, the second at the end of the year. This is how the adventure of this production ends, the first Spanish series of Netflix series whose success remained until this 2020.
  • Better Call Saul: Breaking Bad spin-off premieres its 5th season approaching its last stage, as the actor Giancarlo Esposito, Gus Fring in the series, has declared that the 6th season will be the final, according to The Republic of Peru. Premiere February 24.

The platform also updates its catalog with the arrival on February 1 of the musical film La La Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling; February 14 Eternal glow of a mind without memories .

In addition, something that the subscribers had been waiting for a long time was also fulfilled: the Studio Ghibli films arrive, starting with My neighbor Totoro, Porco Rosso, I can hear the sea, Tales of Terramar and El Castillo in the Sky. Amazon Prime

If Netflix launches hundreds of titles to keep its subscribers, Amazon bets on the contrary, Prime releases are less numerous but equally striking. First is Hunters, a series starring veteran Al Pacino, nominated for an Oscar 92 for The Irishman .

His age has not been an impediment to being as current as almost 40 years ago. Jordan Peele's production tells us, according to Amazon, the story of a group of Nazi hunters, set in the late 70s in New York City.

The ingredients of this story have created great expectations, seeing Al Pacino again in a seventies atmosphere and the recurring theme of Nazism now from the perspective of hunting war criminals. The premiere of the series is scheduled for next February 21.

Another good news for Amazon Prime subscribers is the arrival of ALL the Harry Potter saga, which according to the Spanish newspaper premieres on the platform on February 1. An excellent way to open the month, you can see the whole story without interruptions and without having to change the platform.

Apple TV +

The apple company has already been present in Latin America since last November, and although its catalog is not the largest in the market, it has the virtue that it is original content and that it begins to grow little by little.

For February, Apple TV + is scheduled on February 7 the premiere of Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet that will be added to its small catalog. According to the Show News site, the series is co-produced by Ubisoft Film & Television, RCG, Lionsgate and 3Arts for Apple TV +.

Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet tells us in 9 episodes the story of a group of video game developers who face the big problems of a large company, all this in a comic environment that looks promising, so much so that, according to IGN information, it has been renewed for a second season even without having released the first, Apple goes with everything.

Fox

Outlander is undoubtedly one of the most attractive premieres on Fox, the series starring Caitriona Balfie and Sam Heughan reaches its 5th. season. The story continues with the Frasers in the British colonies on the eve of the independence of the United States.

As in the first seasons Claire and Jaime will have to decide on how to reconcile the life they want to build by adapting to future historical changes that Claire knows in detail. The success of the series has already assured a sixth season continuing with the adaptation of Diana Gabaldon's books, according to information from Chilean Publimetro. February 17 is the official premiere of the new season.
