1. The Irishman is released

One of the most anticipated films of the year has already premiered this Wednesday, November 17. This is The Irishman, the new gangster film by Martin Scorsese. The renowned director turned to a combo of enviable actors with whom he has already worked and who have previously played gangsters and politicians: Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci, and Al Pacino. The three veterans are already icons of Scorsese's films and cinema in general. The film premiered through the Netflix streaming platform and is believed to be going straight to the Academy Awards.

2. Will the DC Universe expand on the big screen?

After the undeniable success of the dark and gloomy Joker, Warner has decided to open the possibility to enlarge the cinematographic universe of the heroes and villains of DC Comics. As you know, we are waiting for the premiere of The Batman, which will star Robert Pattinson. According to the producer, it will depend on how the public receives this new film about the winged superhero the possibility of making more feature films around the history of famous DC villains. Thus, Warner contemplates the possibility of making individual films about Catwoman, Riddler and The Penguin, but everything will depend on the public and the fans.

3. New music by Selena Gomez announced
