The top Latin American artists will get their recognition in the 2nd edition of the Latin American Music Awards in October.
This is going to be the second year for the awards that took place for the first time on the 8th of October, 2016 to be presented by Telemundo.
It is the Spanish-language counterpart of the American Music Awards (AMAs) produced by the Dick Clark Productions. As with AMAs, the Latin AMAs are determined by a poll of the public and music buyers.
The AMA’S format was created back in 1973 for ABC by Dick Clark Productions.
American network Telemundo acquired the rights to produce a Spanish-language version of the American Music Awards and launched the Latin American Music Awards in 2015
These awards are the recognition of the work of multiple Latin American artists by giving participation to the Latin Public.
English and Spanish speaker artist are going to be part, making of the Latin American Music Awards also a place for cultural sharing.
