Mario Gluschankoff is an internationally recognized artist who lives and works in Colombia. His art works are in private collections in Argentina, Spain, Brazil,Israel, Uruguay France and USA His work is best described as surrealism expressionism with a distinctly unique style. Strength, sophistication and sensuality, traits which Glushankoff has imparted in nearly all his works. He has endowed power to his figures, his femmenine faces seem to seek escape the imprisonment of the canvas, seem to possess the qualities for which they are either admired or hated. He was invited to represent the country in the 49th International Venice Biennal, as an interpreter of the complexity of the contemporary art
